Louann’s delight in sensual detail becomes the meals, the dance floors and barroom tables she discovers. Franci has written nearly fifty poems about Portugal. She has edited her name legally.

Ms. Louann lives and re/writes in New Westminster, BC. She calls this “Qayqaytland” in honour of the local Indigenous band, re-founded and led by Chief Rhonda Larrabee. The New Westminster Indian Band is one of the smallest First Nations in Canada and the only one registered without a land base.
